Bowl For Kids Sake - BBBS (11:30 am - 5:30 pm)

Bowl For Kids’ Sake 2012

Benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters

WHEN:   Saturday, February 25

WHERE: Tar Heel Lanes, Hendersonville

WHAT: Participants raise a minimum of $50 in donations from friends, family, and co-workers before the event. Fundraising is EASY and SECURE with our online fundraising! All bowlers receive a t-shirt, 2 free games and free shoes, refreshments and the chance to win door prizes.

HOW:

Form a Team: 4 or 5 team members; each bowler raises at least $50. Team bowling times are 11:30, 1:30, or 3:30.

Sponsor a team: $300: This allows a company, church, or other group to sponsor a lane with their name on it.

Lane Sponsor: $100: Be recognized during the event as a sponsor.

For more information, please visit: www.bbbswnc.org

WHY:

It’s Fun!

When was the last time you went bowling with friends? This is a great chance to have fun with your co-workers outside of work! Last year we had over 180 bowlers from 43 different teams.

It’s Efficient;

Corporate sponsorships cover all of our expenses. This means that 100% of the donations that the bowlers raise go to our programs for children. We are very proud that our expenses are less than 10% of the total!

It’s Effective:

Bowl For Kids Sake provides funds to serve more children with adult mentors. The impact of a mentor in a child’s life is significant; better grades, better relationships with family, friends and adults, improved self-confidence and the ability to withstand peer pressure.
