United Way of Henderson County and Community Foundation of Henderson County have established the Henderson County COVID-19 Response Fund to rapidly deploy resources to community-based organizations at the frontlines of coronavirus in Henderson County.

The Henderson County COVID-19 Response Fund will provide flexible resources to 501(c)(3) organizations in our region working with communities who are disproportionately impacted by coronavirus and the resulting economic consequences. Grants from the Fund will support front line human services organizations that have deep roots in the community and strong experience working with vulnerable populations. The first phase of rapid-response grants will help meet basic needs and increase resiliency for at-risk populations. We expect to move an initial round of grants within the next few weeks.

Grant applications for the Henderson County COVID-19 Response Fund can be found here.

If you have questions about the application feel free to contact Sarah Kowalak (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or Lee Henderson-Hill (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

Applications will be reviewed and grants will be considered on a rolling basis. We are making every attempt to remain flexible and to respond to changing community needs and resources as quickly as possible.
