POSITION AVAILABLE: Girls Empowered (GEM) Coordinator

United Way of Henderson County is seeking an enthusiastic team member to coordinate and expand our GEM program.  GEM provides high quality, out-of-school programming for 5th and 8th grade girls at 2 elementary and 1 middle school in Henderson County.  We will be expanding to a total of 11 school sites and 1 summer program over 3 years, as we continue to work with teachers, public school administrators and volunteers to provide safe, enriching spaces for girls with activities designed to boost self-esteem, confidence, and school readiness. 

Job Requirements: Full-time, in-person work to take place 37.5 hours per week primarily during business hours; Travel throughout Henderson County

Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000 with full benefits

Language Requirements: English fluency; English/Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred
