2021 Days of Caring Raises Funds and Food for Local Food Pantries

Our 2021 Days of Caring initiative UNITED our community to fight food insecurity in Henderson County. By raising food and funds for 13 local food pantries, we are making a big difference in the lives of so many in our community who are in need of food. To date, over $54,000 has been raised, meaning each pantry will receive over $4,000 in much needed funding.

We are grateful to all the individuals, companies, civic clubs and neighborhoods who united in this effort. Thanks to you, we collected over 3,500 pounds of food, and over 1,500 Kids' Snack Packs! A huge thank you goes out to longstanding community supporters Tom and Sue Fazio for providing a generous and impactful $25,000 match for the first $25,000 raised.

We also salute our Silver Sponsor GE current, a Daintree company, and our Bronze Sponsors: Carolina Village, Duke Energy, Gaia Herbs, Goldsmith-Molis & Gray, Kimberly-Clark and Pepsi, for helping to make this important event possible.
