Our Small Business League was up to BIG things on July 8th with a check presentation to Children & Family Resource Center for $1,800 to provide support for six participants to attend Blue Ridge Community College’s EDU 119 education class. This is a key component of their Early Childhood Workforce Development Program, which addresses the workforce shortage without having to lower educational qualifications. An increase in trained childcare educators in Henderson County is good for our children, parents, and a healthy workforce!
