Jessica Sigmon brings more than a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, communications, and community engagement to United Way of Henderson County. Prior to joining United Way, she served in senior level roles with a variety of organizations across Western North Carolina, where she led strategic initiatives in resource development, board coordination, grant management, and public-facing outreach. Her work has focused on strengthening organizational capacity and building collaborative partnerships to support long-term community impact. Jessica holds an associate degree in finance and a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from UNC Charlotte.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her wife and their son, along with their dog and two cats. She loves baking, being outdoors, and exploring new places, and she values opportunities that foster connection, curiosity, and a strong sense of community.
