Diana Piñero is passionate about building stronger, healthier communities, especially by improving access to essential services for underserved populations. With a background in community outreach, administrative support, and health-related service coordination, she brings both heart and hands-on experience to her work.
Most recently, Diana was part of Caja Solidaria’s Operations Team in Hendersonville, NC, where she helped coordinate food distribution, supported volunteers, and worked closely with families across several counties. Whether assisting someone in accessing services or simply listening to their story, she believes in meeting people with dignity, care, and consistency.
Before moving to the U.S., Diana worked in outreach and administrative roles in her hometown of Havana, Cuba, partnering with hospitals, foundations, and educational programs. She holds a degree in Management and Preservation of Cultural Heritage from the University College San Geronimo of Havana, as well as an Associate of Arts in Restoration and Conservation from the Havana Workshop School "Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos."
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Diana brings deep cultural awareness and the ability to build trust across diverse communities, especially in times of crisis or recovery.
Outside of work, Diana finds joy in hiking, crocheting, dancing, and spending time in nature with animals. She’s also deeply passionate about photography, which allows her to capture the beauty and resilience of the world around her. Most of all, she loves sharing meaningful moments with friends and loved ones, something that keeps her grounded and inspired to continue serving others.
