August 1: Day of Action work at local schools from 8:30am - 11:30 am

Henderson County Public Schools need volunteers to ready schoolgrounds for the upcoming year.
Day of Action mobilizes community volunteers to work on service projects that assist Henderson County Public Schools (HCPS) in preparing for the new academic year. On August 1st (rain date August 2nd), hundreds of volunteers will spread out at schools across the county and work on outdoor landscape maintenance projects. The schools will supply plenty of mulch and tools. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate.
